It makes it difficult the other way (ie: can't always control the bowels) but at least it may make things easier so she doesn't end up in so much pain. That really sucks. I hope that things change for you guys soon!carrsterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09577396465027107426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10437551.post-34921664501273604562010-09-10T21:37:03.581-05:002010-09-10T21:37:03.581-05:00Oh man, Ditto Kate, Poor Claire and poor you.Oh man, Ditto Kate, Poor Claire and poor you.Saritahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15835191691098825467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10437551.post-46717908256649367022010-09-10T13:19:04.619-05:002010-09-10T13:19:04.619-05:00I'm so sorry, Holly. Potty training has been ...I'm so sorry, Holly. Potty training has been the bane of my existence for the last 2 years. It is the hardest thing I've ever had to do my whole life - and it's still an ongoing struggle.

One suggestion I have, if you haven't already tried it, is Miralax. I have a few friends who've had "withholders" and they swear by it (I have used it on occasion for Kate when she was younger and would get a little backed up). It's still a laxative, but gentle enough to use every day - without the cramping, etc. of a laxative suppository. They have used it daily for MONTHS to help make sure the kids keep going, and to help them get over any "fear" that it might hurt. It dissolves in any liquid and is tasteless and colorless. You might want to check it out. It's kind of a miracle laxative.Cellomamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01324155073073873706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10437551.post-40997251012310450152010-09-10T12:01:28.595-05:002010-09-10T12:01:28.595-05:00Poor baby.
